About this and that...
These days are passing way to fast. Work has started for real, with schedules, obligations and responsibilities. Looking to the sidelines: I've much enjoyed Serenity and am looking forward to watch Firefly. Last weeks local elections didn't teach us nothing about democracy, justice and the quite rotten organization of Portuguese political parties. Two weeks have gone since my iBook went to the repair store, and they're taking their time.. apparently doing nothing as they're unable to present me with a simple status report. And since we're talking about fruit, Apple has launched the much expected video iPod and took another step in the home entertainment front. The Avian Flu threat is all over Portuguese media, which speculate about the lack of speculation, in a away the only solution to speculation is telling everybody that everything is just fine and there's nothing to worry, or even speculate, about. And what if I told you that a local newspaper put an explicit picture of a hanged man, with the text telling details about his suicide, the day after it happened. It's the best way to know about it, ignoring the morbidity of it, just imagine the remote possibility of some (not so close) relative knowing that through the newspaper...
Ahh, just lovely! :)
