The teasing game

This week was marked by Google and Sun synergies looking forward the spreading of each other products, in a clear move against the Microsoft struggle to be the one and only everywhere. While all that buzz was still fresh and far from setting down, Apple was sending invitations to a new Special Event.

The “One More Thing...” invitations call to an already famous Steve Jobs quote, the one that everybody expects when prior special events was about to end. Usually, when everyone thinks that Jobs has already revealed all the season's goodies, he comes out to say “Oh, and one more thing...” and then reveals that unexpected product, that breathtaking one that makes everyone go even wilder that they were going minutes before. This time, the rumor sites are talking, yet again, about the most expected step to the iPod line, the Video iPod. Analysts though, share with us a more mature view on all of this.

And while I talk about Apple, my ibook sits in the bright repair tunnel, away from me, looking to the light and holding itself back from walking straight to the ibook heaven. Thank gods for two year warranties. :)
