Google Face Recognition

So, according to Google Rumors it's possible that Google buys Riya. If it happens, this product will give Google the technology for recognizing faces in photos, bringing Search to yet another dimension.

Face recognition as it is today is over-rated. :P I'd get into details of why, but I'll just say that the error rates of those systems at the present are high. It would still be interesting to see what Google would do with it. ;)
